INTERNATIONAL HUMANITARIAN COLLEGE LONDON AND LAVR UK ANNOUNCE STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP ON CYBERSECURITY
STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP ON CYBERSECURITY AND CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE PROTECTION ANNOUNCED BETWEEN IHCL and LAVR
Together with LAVR UK IHCL is addressing pressing challenges facing modern infrastructure cybersecurity resilience and combining industry expertise with academic training to benefit UK port security”
LONDON, MIDDLESEX, UNITED KINGDOM, April 1, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- International Humanitarian College London (IHCL) and LAVR UK Ltd, part of the LAVR Group (All International Defense Group), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding establishing a strategic partnership aimed at developing specialised education and training programmes in cybersecurity and the protection of critical infrastructure.— Dr Serhii Kosianenko
The cooperation will combine LAVR’s operational expertise in cybersecurity, infrastructure protection, and maritime security with IHCL’s academic platform to deliver bootcamps, short professional courses, and specialised training programmes for industry professionals and organisations responsible for critical infrastructure.
Under the partnership framework, LAVR UK will contribute its practical expertise in cybersecurity auditing, operational security frameworks, and infrastructure resilience, while IHCL will provide the educational environment and academic structure for programme delivery.
A key component of the collaboration will focus on the introduction of training modules related to PORTS™️, an integrated critical infrastructure protection concept developed and owned by LAVR UK.
The PORTS™️ framework is designed to address the evolving risks faced by modern maritime and logistics infrastructure. The system integrates cybersecurity practices, operational risk analysis, infrastructure protection strategies, and incident response methodologies specifically tailored for maritime ports and logistics environments.
With the majority of global trade moving through maritime supply chains, ports have become increasingly strategic assets within national and international infrastructure systems. At the same time, growing digitalisation of port operations has expanded the potential attack surface for cyber threats targeting logistics networks, port management systems, and industrial control infrastructure.
Through this partnership, LAVR UK and IHCL will develop education programmes aimed at strengthening resilience across sectors responsible for critical infrastructure, including:
• port authorities and harbour administrations
• maritime and logistics sector organisations
• cybersecurity professionals working with infrastructure systems
• government agencies responsible for infrastructure protection
• operators of strategic industrial and transportation assets
The training programmes will combine technical expertise, operational case studies, and scenario-based exercises, reflecting the real-world challenges faced by modern infrastructure operators.
Dr. Serhii Kosianenko, Chief Executive Officer of International Humanitarian College London, explains: “We are pleased to collaborate with LAVR UK in developing programmes that address one of the most pressing challenges facing modern infrastructure cybersecurity resilience. By combining industry expertise with academic training, we can deliver educational programmes that are both practical and forward-looking.”
Mr. Dmytro Petrenko Project Director of LAVR UK, added: “Critical infrastructure particularly ports and logistics networks has become increasingly dependent on complex digital systems. Our partnership with International Humanitarian College London allows us to translate operational cybersecurity expertise into structured education programmes that prepare professionals to identify, assess, and respond to emerging threats affecting modern infrastructure.”
The first joint initiatives are expected to launch in the form of intensive cybersecurity bootcamps and specialised professional courses, with future expansion planned into advanced certification programmes and sector-specific training initiatives.
