LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, November 5, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- SnapFig has introduced a collection of realistic custom sculptures made from customer photographs. The collection features a full-color personalized portrait bust, an antique bronze-finish bust, a full-body figure and a large pet sculpture. The release expands SnapFig's made-to-order range beyond its stylized figurines, with closer attention to facial likeness and more opportunities for customers to refine the design before it is made.— Janson, Product Director, SnapFig
The collection is led by the Custom Personalized Bust From Your Photo, which is available as either a bust or a half-body portrait. The bust draws attention to the face, expression and hairstyle, while the half-body format shows more of the subject's clothing. Both formats use the customer's photo as the reference for a realistic portrait intended for display on a shelf, mantel or desk. The bust is offered in four heights: 8, 10, 12 and 15 centimeters, ranging from approximately 3.15 to 5.91 inches.
SnapFig's modelers refine details such as facial contours, the shape of a smile, the way hair falls and the appearance of glasses or other visible accessories. The aim is to capture the features that make the portrait recognizable to the people who know the subject, including details that might be less important in a more stylized interpretation.
For a portrait bust, SnapFig recommends a clear, well-lit photo of one person, taken from the front or at a three-quarter angle. If glasses, a hairstyle or part of an outfit are important to the finished portrait, those details should be visible in the reference.
All four products use premium full-color resin. The antique bronze-finish portrait bust uses resin with a bronze-tone surface treatment and comes with a black walnut base as standard. The bronze tone describes the finish rather than the underlying material. The bust is available in heights of 15, 20 and 30 centimeters, and the wood base provides a finished presentation for a home or office.
The full-body sculpture brings details outside the face into the portrait, including posture, clothing and accessories visible in the reference photo. This format suits occasions where the pose or outfit is part of the memory, such as a graduation portrait or a career milestone. A full-length photo is useful when the subject's stance, footwear or a particular accessory is important to the portrait.
The large pet sculpture focuses on the details that distinguish an individual companion, including coat markings, ear shape and expression. Customers can select a sitting, standing or lying pose for the pet sculpture, which is offered in 15 and 20 centimeter sizes.
Across the collection, customers have a dedicated point of contact for discussing the design. They provide a reference photo, review a digital preview and can request adjustments before production. This gives the customer a chance to identify any differences between the first design and the details they want the sculpture to capture.
For example, a customer commissioning a bust might flag a subtle expression or clarify how a pair of glasses sits on the face. A customer commissioning a pet sculpture might draw attention to a distinctive patch of fur. Production begins only after the customer approves the preview, a requirement that applies to all four sculptures.
"A familiar face is often recognized by a small detail, like the shape of a smile," said Janson, Product Director at SnapFig. "The preview gives customers a chance to tell us which details matter before we make the sculpture."
The collection is intended primarily for personal gifts and keepsakes, including family milestones, anniversaries and pet remembrance. A portrait of a parent might be based on a favorite family photo, while a graduation sculpture could show the subject in their cap and gown. The formats also suit individual recognition gifts, such as a portrait commissioned to mark a colleague's retirement. In each case, the choice of format determines how much of the original scene is carried into the finished piece. A close portrait can work well with a photo framed around the head and shoulders. A full-body sculpture is better suited to a reference that shows the full outfit and pose.
The Custom Personalized Bust From Your Photo starts at $149. U.S. customers can review the available formats and size options, choose a configuration and submit a reference photo on the product page. All four sculptures are also featured on SnapFig's Black Friday Sale page.
